This ghoulish display from last year’s Hitt family yard decorations shows what viewers can expect to see. Don’t miss the family’s creative displays this year! (Dan Hitt photo)

Hitt Family Display
The Hitt family at 533 Three Mile Hill Road will again decorate their yard for Halloween and collect donations. You can show your appreciation for their display by making cash or check donations only on Halloween that will go to three local causes, the Middlebury Food Bank, Brass City Rescue Alliance and Make a Home Foundation. While donations are appreciated, they are not required. Dan Hitt says the display should be up by Friday, October 24. Don’t miss it!

Bernstein Family Display
Bradley and Robbie Bernstein invite folks to their fourth annual Halloween Graveyard at Hilltop Manor at 370 Tucker Hill Road. Entrance is free; please park on the driveway. Nonperishable food donations for the Middlebury Food Bank are welcome, as are pets. Costumes are optional.

Open Wednesday and Thursday, October 29 and 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Open for trick-or-treaters Friday, October 31, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Allergy safe, non-GMO organic candy will be available in addition to traditional Halloween Treats.

Parks and Rec Trick or Trunk
This Middlebury Parks and Rec and Middlebury Police Social Club event for Middlebury residents and businesses will be Saturday, October 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Memorial Middle School parking lot. Rain date Sunday, October 26.

This is a safe, kid-friendly Halloween activity for family members of all ages. Participating departments, committees, organizations, and individuals decorate their trunks/hatches and distribute treats to costumed characters while family and friends get to mingle in a social atmosphere.

Fire Department Party
The Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department annually hosts a Halloween Party for Middlebury children. Plans for it were not finalized by press time. Please look for information on signs posted around town and on the newspaper’s website, bee-news.com.
