Budget Referendum

Wednesday, May 7

Polls open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Middlebury residents vote at Shepardson Community Center at 1172 Whittemore Road.

The following five questions will be on the ballot:

Question 1: “Shall the proposed 2025-2026 Budget of the Pomperaug Regional School District #15 in the amount of $90,777,524 be adopted?” ___Yes ___ No

Question 2: “Shall the 2025-2026 proposed Town of Middlebury Municipal Budget in the amount of $13,474,073 be approved?” ___Yes ___ No

Question 3: “Shall the Town of Middlebury appropriate $1,593,000 for 2025-2026 Pay As You Go Infrastructure / Capital / Reserves from State Grants, Revenue and Undesignated Fund Balance?” ___ Yes ___ No

Question 4: Shall the Town of Middlebury appropriate the sum of $500,000 from Undesignated Fund Balance for the FEMA Reserve Account (30-10-04-6092) and the STEAP Sidewalk Grant Account (20-46-04-6092) to cover the town’s portion of expenditures that will be reimbursed by Federal or State agencies in the future? ___ Yes ___ No

Question 5: Shall the town of Middlebury consider entering into a Lease/License agreement with CT Rush Central for the installation of professional grade synthetic turf/appurtenances at Meadowview Park? ___ Yes ___ No
