Middlebury’s new police chief, James Viadero, will be formally sworn in Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Westover School Auditorium at 1237 Whittemore Road in Middlebury. The doors will open at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the ceremony. All are invited to attend.
