Avid fisherman
Jesse Eugene Butwell, 41, of Naugatuck, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted life partner of April Millo.
Jesse was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, August 14, 1981, son of Richard A. and Barbara (Garland) Butwell of Middlebury. He was a graduate of Naugatuck High, class of 1999, and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from Southern Connecticut State University. After graduating, Jesse became a police and training officer with the Shelton Police Department, where he worked for 15 years. Jesse loved the outdoors and camping, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his cherished friends.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory at 200 Benson Road in Middlebury, Connecticut, has been entrusted with the services.
