This is an increase of 4,366 cases over one week. The state daily test positivity rate as of Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. was 8.04%, down from 8.81% on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 8:30 p.m.

On June 15 at 8:30 p.m., 273 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, 9 fewer than on June 8. Through Wednesday, June 15, deaths numbered 11,015, an increase of 16 deaths since June 8.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 1,353 (+4) confirmed and 270 (+2) probable, Naugatuck – 6,880 confirmed and 1,391 probable, Oxford – 2,228 confirmed and 285 probable, Southbury – 2,898 confirmed and 676 probable, Woodbury – 1,358 confirmed and 279 probable, Watertown – 4,438 confirmed and 764 probable, and Waterbury – 29,435 confirmed and 4,235 probable.
