The Middlebury Board of Finance, at a special meeting after the polls closed Wednesday, May 5, voted to set the mil rate for the 2021-2022 fiscal year at 34.83 mils. The current mil rate is 35.10.
Before the board voted, Chairman Bill Stowell announced Middlebury’s referendum results. He said voters approved the town and Region 15 budgets and the question on transferring funds. We expect to publish the actual number of votes on each question tomorrow morning.
