Loving son, brother and uncle
James L. Crownshaw, 55, of Waterbury, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Waterbury Hospital.
Jimmy was born in Waterbury January 20, 1966, a son of the late Vernon Edward Crownshaw and Louise (Bioski) Crownshaw of Middlebury. Jimmy loved freshwater fishing, was a true diehard New York Yankees fan, always loved wrestling and watching the WWE and adored his beloved cat, Angel.
Besides his mother, Louise, of Middlebury, James leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Michael Crownshaw Sr. and his wife, Lisa, of Middlebury; a sister, Tina Hermonot and her husband, Dave, of Waterbury; and his nieces and nephews, Michael L. Crownshaw Jr., Melissa Crownshaw, Vernon Edward Crownshaw III, Samantha Crownshaw, Crystal Tellerday, and Tiffany Tellerday. He was predeceased by his brother, Vernon E. Crownshaw Jr.
Calling hours for James will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Memorial, The Albini Family Funeral Home & Crematory at 200 Benson Road in Middlebury. Burial will be held at a later date privately and at the convenience of the family. James will be interred in the Crownshaw family plot at New North Cemetery in Woodbury.
