February Break Day Camps

#Middlebury #Flanders

Children in grades kindergarten through five can participate in Flanders Nature Center February break programs Friday, Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 14, 17 and 18. Children attending “Amazing Animals” will spend time discovering the wonderful world of animals, hiking the trails and learning how to track animals active in winter. The also will visit the animals that make their home in the Flanders North Barn and learn new facts about farmyard animals.

Fun-filled days will be packed with exploring the great outdoors and learning about the wonderful world of animals as well as age-appropriate stories, games and crafts. Flanders will care for them, entertain them and educate them while giving them a memorable day!

Flanders is offering three different sessions for each of these special fun days. Choose the morning session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the afternoon session from 1 to 5 p.m., or a full day session from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Parents are asked to have their children dress for the weather and bring a bag lunch or snack. Pre-registration is required. The cost per child each day for either a morning or afternoon session is $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Full day cost for each day is $60 for members and $80 for nonmembers. Early and late care is available at $8 per hour.

To register, call Flanders at 203-263-3711, extension 12. For a full listing of all the programs for kids and adults coming up at Flanders visit www.flandersnaturecenter.org or find more details on their Facebook page.
