Winterset is a 47-year-old club, organized to promote skiing, both downhill and cross country, and snowboarding. Throughout the year a number of activities and social events are held to encourage member skiing and camaraderie.
During the ski season, the club offers a number of day bus trips and a week-long trip (this year’s trip is to Whistler-Blackcomb in British Columbia). In addition, Winterset purchases lift tickets as a group, reducing the lift ticket price and, as part of the Connecticut Ski Council, can take advantage of Awareness Days when lift tickets are as low as $35.
