On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., 37 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 13 patients since Sunday, and deaths numbered 8,266, an increase of 3 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 627 confirmed and 90 probable, Naugatuck – 3,195 confirmed and 341 probable, Oxford – 853 confirmed and 91 probable, Southbury – 1,236 confirmed and 224 probable, Woodbury – 566 confirmed and 79 probable, Watertown – 2,199 confirmed and 310 probable, and Waterbury – 14,829 confirmed and 1,651 probable.
