Middlebury will hold a special town meeting Tuesday, May 7, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 26 of Shepardson Community Center at 1172 Whittemore Road in Middlebury to vote on property sales to four different buyers and to vote on purchasing property at the corner of Routes 188 and 64 from the State of Connecticut. Many of the lots being sold are small, landlocked pieces of property on Lake Shore Drive. The land being purchased is needed for the Rochambeau monument site in Meadowview Park. See the agenda below:
