Loving son, father, brother and Skuncle

Clint Greatorex, 56, of Middlebury, entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his home.

Clint was born in Waterbury on October 24, 1967, a son of Bernadette (Sledz) Greatorex and the late Harold C. Greatorex Jr. He was a graduate of Pomperaug High School Class of 1985. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Clint was an avid collector who especially enjoyed collecting coins and baseball cards. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed going to car shows with his son, Alexander. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Loftus Council in Middlebury. Clint was a communicant and usher at St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury.

Besides his mother, Bernadette, he leaves his son, Alexander C. Greatorex of Meriden; his two sisters, Bernadette J. Grahn of Harwinton and Deanna Trott of Wethersfield; his brother, Parry Q. Greatorex of Torrington; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Eric C. Greatorex.

His funeral will be Thursday, October 19, at 9 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home at 430 Chase Parkway in Waterbury to St. John of the Cross Church in Middlebury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Watertown. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
