Loving mother, sister, aunt and friend
Mrs. Betsy (Freer) Desmarais, 52, of Middlebury, entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday December 28, 2022, at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the proud mother of Tyler and Jenna Desmarais, who were “her world.”
Betsy was born in Torrington, Connecticut, on August 27, 1970, a daughter of the late Francis E. and Sally (Douchane) Freer. She worked as an employment specialist for CW Resources in Waterbury, Connecticut for the past 13 years.
Besides her loving children, Betsy leaves behind to cherish her memory her siblings; Robert Freer of Torrington; Karen Judson and her husband, Bill, of North Carolina; and Debra Green and her husband, David, of Thomaston; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
her brother, Francis Freer Jr.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 6, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at Brookside Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home and Crematory at 200 Benson Road in Middlebury. Calling hours with the cremains present will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
