This is an increase of 3,008 cases over one week. The state daily test positivity rate as of Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at 8:30 p.m. was 3.95%, up from 2.64% on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 8:30 p.m.

On March 30 at 8:30 p.m., 88 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 12 patients since March 23. Through Wednesday, March 30, deaths numbered 10,776, an increase of 32 deaths since March 23.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 1,192 (+7) confirmed and 237 (+3) probable, Naugatuck – 6,313 confirmed and 1,232 probable, Oxford – 1,966 confirmed and 265 probable, Southbury – 2,541 confirmed and 587 probable, Woodbury – 1,200 confirmed and 256 probable, Watertown – 4,054 confirmed and 723 probable, and Waterbury – 27,941 confirmed and 3,900 probable.
