This is an increase of 2,312 cases over three days. The state daily test positivity rate as of Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 8:30 p.m. was 5.25%, up from 3.61% on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at 8:30 p.m.

On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., 354 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 54 patients since Thursday. Through Wednesday, November 24, deaths numbered 8,865, an increase of 31 deaths since November 17. Deaths are reported once a week.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 755 (+3) confirmed and 116 (no change) probable, Naugatuck – 3,814 confirmed and 558 probable, Oxford – 1,136 confirmed and 115 probable, Southbury – 1,511 confirmed and 279 probable, Woodbury – 714 confirmed and 121 probable, Watertown – 2,671 confirmed and 419 probable, and Waterbury – 17,052 confirmed and 2,218 probable.
