The state daily test positivity rate as of Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 8:30 p.m. was 1.77%, up from 1.55% on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at 8:30 p.m.
On Wednesday at 8:30 p.m., 191 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, 21 fewer than on Sunday. Through Wednesday, October 27, deaths numbered 8,751, an increase of 30 deaths since October 20. Deaths are reported once a week.
