Pick your own in Bronson Meadow – Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the meadow next to Pies & Pub. Enjoy activities and purchase pumpkins, gourds, popcorn, ornamental corn, sunflower heads. Park behind Pies and Pub at One Store Road in Middlebury and look for the canopy.

Boy Scouts Annual Pasta Dinner – Boy Scout Troops 5 and 6 will host the 15th Annual Pasta Dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. at Shepardson Community Center at 1172 Whittemore Road in Middlebury. This year’s event will be take-out only. To order, please visit www.middleburytroops5and6.com/pastadinner.

Meal includes bread and butter, tossed salad, pasta with sauce and meatballs (meatless option available), dessert and drinks. A silent auction to be held during the evening will conclude at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds help support troop activities and the purchase of necessary equipment.

Pomperaug Soccer Booster Club bottle drive – Donate bottles and cans from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. October 2 and 3 at Pomperaug High School at 234 Judd Road in Southbury. Please separate your cans, plastic bottles and glass bottles to make processing easier. Glass bottles should be in boxes if possible. Look for a truck staffed by volunteers in the student parking lot along the road in front of the school. Cash donations also are greatly appreciated.

Fenn Farm Annual Open Farm Tour – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m at Fenn Farm on Artillery Road in Middlebury. Tour the farm and enjoy complimentary hot dogs, cider, doughnuts, and coffee.
