On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., 34 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 3 patients since Wednesday, and deaths numbered 8,269, an increase of 3 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 627 confirmed and 90 probable, Naugatuck – 3,196 confirmed and 345 probable, Oxford – 854 confirmed and 91 probable, Southbury – 1,238 confirmed and 224 probable, Woodbury – 566 confirmed and 79 probable, Watertown – 2,201 confirmed and 312 probable, and Waterbury – 14,837 confirmed and 1,652 probable.
