The Southbury Public Library increased its hours on both floors starting Monday, June 7, 2021. The library is now open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays; 9:30 am to 9 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays; 9:30 am to 4 pm on Saturdays; and closed on Sundays.
Masks are recommended but not required unless you are not fully vaccinated. Anyone who is not fully vaccinated (two weeks after their last vaccination dose) must continue to wear a mask at all times, including all children between the ages of 2 and 11. Hand sanitizer is provided at the main entrance and at other locations including the checkout desk.
Anyone who is not comfortable entering the library should call the Reference Department at 203-262-0626, ext. 130 or visit www.southburylibrary.org/curbside to inquire about the library’s contactless curbside pickup service.
