Middlebury COVID-19 rate drops again

For the second time in a row, the Connecticut Department of Public Health report on COVID-19 cases per 100,000 showed a drop in Middlebury’s rate. The report, included in the Friday, April 30, state report, is for April 11 to 24. The rate for that period was 23.1 cases per 100,000 COVID-19 cases (14 cases in week 1; 11 cases in week 2). In the previous report, the rate was 27.7 cases per 100,000 COVID-19 cases for the period April 4 to April 17, 2021 (16 cases in week 1; 14 cases in week 2).
