On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, Connecticut state officials said from Sunday, February 14, 2021, at 8:30 p.m. to Monday, February 15, 2021, at 8:30 p.m., COVID-19 cases in the state rose to 270,822. This is an increase of 580 cases over 24 hours.

On Monday at 8:30 p.m., 606 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 12 patients since Sunday, and deaths numbered 7,449, an increase of 2 deaths.

Cumulative cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 513 confirmed (no new cases) and 42 probable (no new cases), Naugatuck – 2,482 confirmed and 181 probable, Oxford – 671 confirmed and 33 probable, Southbury – 1,001 confirmed and 81 probable, Woodbury – 442 confirmed and 34 probable, Watertown – 1,674 confirmed and 164 probable, and Waterbury – 11,429 confirmed and 781 probable.
