Mrs. Barbara L. (LaVigne) Peck, 89, formerly of Watertown, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Middlebury Convalescent Home. She was the widow of Stanley Griffen “Bud” Peck.

Mrs. Peck was born in Waterbury, September 16, 1931, a daughter of the late Bertrand and Lillian (Cummings) LaVigne. She was a secretary at Watertown High School for many years prior to her retirement. After retiring, she continued to work for an additional six years at her son’s business, North American Theatrix. She enjoyed trips to Block Island, walking the beach, and gardening and was an avid UConn women’s basketball fan. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Peck is survived by her daughter, Vicki Peck Mulligan and her husband George; three sons, Gary Scott Peck and his wife Bonnie Welch, Griffen Alan Peck and his wife Christina, and Steven Michael Peck and his wife Elaine; nine grandchildren, Emily Mulligan, Paige Mulligan, Lindsay Peck Spohn, Mallory Peck Levy, Christian Gonzalez, Adrian Peck, Nathan Peck, Jonathon Peck, and Catrina Peck; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Ruth French and Sally Hanrahan.

Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hickcox Funeral Home in Watertown.
