On Monday, June 29, 2020, Connecticut state officials said there were 46,362 COVID-19 cases in the state as of Sunday, June 28, at 8:30 p.m. This is an increase of 59 cases over the 46,303 on Saturday, June 27, at 8:30 p.m. The total number of cases in Middlebury increased to 49 (+2).

On Sunday at 8:30 p.m., 99 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 4 patients, and 4,320 people had died, an increase of 4 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 46 confirmed and 3 probable, Naugatuck – 380 confirmed and 9 probable, Oxford – 77 confirmed and 3 probable, Southbury – 190 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 51 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 144 confirmed and 7 probable, Waterbury – 1,924 confirmed and 89 probable.
