On Saturday, June 27, 2020, Connecticut state officials said there were 46,206 COVID-19 cases in the state as of Friday, June 26, at 8:30 p.m. This is an increase of 147 cases over the 46,059 on Thursday, June 25, at 8:30 p.m. The total number of cases in Middlebury remained at 47.

On Friday at 8:30 p.m., 106 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 21 patients, and 4,311 people had died, an increase of 4 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 44 confirmed and 3 probable, Naugatuck – 376 confirmed and 9 probable, Oxford – 77 confirmed and 3 probable, Southbury – 192 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 49 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 141 confirmed and 7 probable, Waterbury – 1,912 confirmed and 89 probable.
