On Friday, June 26, 2020, Connecticut state officials said there were 46,059 COVID-19 cases in the state as of Thursday, June 25, at 8:30 p.m. This is an increase of 65 cases over the 45,994 on Wednesday, June 24, at 8:30 p.m. The total number of cases in Middlebury remained at 47.

On Thursday at 8:30 p.m., 127 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 5 patients, and 4,307  people had died, an increase of 9 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 44 confirmed and 3 probable, Naugatuck – 376 confirmed and 9 probable, Oxford – 77 confirmed and 3 probable, Southbury – 189 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 48 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 141 confirmed and 7 probable, Waterbury – 1,908 confirmed and 89 probable.
