The Middlebury Parks and Rec Department released the following information for the Middlebury Recreation Area (MRA) for Saturday and Sunday, May 30 and 31:
The MRA will be open for boating activities this weekend from 9 am to 6 pm. The guidelines are as follows:
- Middlebury residents only – Only residents with proper ID will be admitted; staff will request IDs at the gate. No guests, no exceptions.
- Social distancing and PPE will be enforced, masks are required.
- Boats are to be carried in and out of the recreation area; no boats may be left on the property.
- Unfortunately we cannot allow swimming at this time.
- Residents are welcome to sit on the grass and enjoy the view with appropriate social distancing/PPE.
- When parking your vehicle, please observe social distancing requirements
