Loving and caring wife, mother, daughter and sister

Mrs. Lesley A. Marrone, 40, of Middlebury, entered into the gates of heaven unexpectedly on Tuesday Jan. 22, 2019 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Anders “Andy” Anderson.

Lesley was born in Waterbury on June 2, 1978, daughter of Louis and Margaret (Munro) Marrone of Middlebury. She attended Region 15 School system and was a 1995 graduate of Pomperaug High School. She attended Naugatuck Valley Community College. She worked as a CNA at Masonicare of Wallingford for five years and most recently as a para-professional at Region 15. She was a proud homemaker and mother, having raised her three children. She was a lifelong Middlebury resident and a former member of the Junior Auxiliary of the Middlebury Fire Department.

Besides her husband and parents, she leaves to cherish her memory three children, Alexander Anderson, Austin Anderson and Fiona Anderson all of Middlebury; two sisters, Heather Alfonso and Joe el-Massri of Conway, S.C. and Alexis Colson and her husband, Tim, of Vienna, Va.; two brothers-in-law, Arthur Anderson and his wife, Terry, of Guilford and Aaron Anderson and his wife, Rhonda, of Madison Heights, Va.; a sister-in-law, Katie Anderson of Waterbury and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She also leaves her dog Coco “Poofy” and her two cats, Scruffy and Cookie.

A funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home at 430 Chase Parkway in Waterbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Sunday, Jan. 27, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
