Q: Is Conan O’Brien’s show coming back to TBS soon, or is it done? – Charlotte P.

A: Yes, “Conan” is returning for its ninth season in January, but will be only 30 minutes long. During the show’s hiatus, O’Brien completed his national Team Coco Tour and also launched a successful podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.” The podcast debuted in the top spot on Apple Charts on Nov. 19 with celebrity guest Will Ferrell.

And don’t forget, he has another show on TBS and the Internet, “Conan Without Borders,” where he shares his hilarious adventures as he travels internationally.

O’Brien joked about the recent hiatus of his talk show: “My three-month absence can only mean one thing – radical cosmetic surgery. Tune in Jan. 22, for a true freak show.” “Conan” airs four nights a week at 11 p.m. ET/PT on TBS.

Q: How did Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini become best friends? How long have they known each other? – Belle W.

A: The two besties, who recently starred in their first movie together, the comedy “Second Act,” have been busy promoting their film and sharing tales of their friendship with interviewers. It goes like this: Back in 2004, Leah was pals with singer Marc Anthony, who had just started dating J. Lo, and he introduced the two women.

Leah recently joked to “Entertainment Tonight” that she was struck by how beautiful her future friend was and hoped that it was the lighting, but it wasn’t. Then, looking for another fault, Leah thought in her head, “Ugh, I hope she’s dumb … I wanted to find something [negative about her] and I didn’t.”

J. Lo shared about Leah, “This person makes me laugh. She’s cool and we have very similar upbringings. That’s why we work well together.”

Q: Are there two actresses with the name Peyton List in Hollywood? I know there is the blonde from the Disney shows, but I swear I remember a brunette on a daytime soap years ago. Are they the same person? – S.S.

A: No, although there are two young actresses with that unique name. It is Screen Actors Guild policy that if you have the same name as someone already registered, you change your name or add an initial or something to differentiate it. The duplicate Peyton List names apparently went unnoticed for a while, hence the confusion.

The 20-year-old blonde Peyton, who is now “listed” as Peyton R. List (her middle name is Roi), grew up on the set of the Disney show “Jessie” and just completed the MGM musical remake of the 1983 cult hit “Valley Girl.” She plays a cheerleader in the film, which also stars Mae Whitman (“Parenthood”) and YouTube star Logan Paul.

The brunette Peyton List is 32 years old, and her first regular role was as Lucy Montgomery on the CBS daytime soap “As the World Turns.” She’s gone on to have a very successful primetime TV career, most recently as a series regular on “Colony” with Josh Holloway (“Lost”).
