As part of the Connecticut Department of Public Health’s statewide vaccination campaign against influenza, the Waterbury Department of Public Health will provide a FREE Flu Clinic Saturday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at City Hall. See flyer below.
FREE influenza vaccination will be available for adults and children regardless of their place of residency and health insurance status. This is a valuable service for individuals who do not have health insurance coverage and would otherwise have to pay cash to receive. Without health insurance coverage, flu shots in retail settings can cost $40-50. Avoiding flu and its possible serious side effects is priceless, especially for the uninsured.
