Lexi White, 13, of Middlebury will appear in CPTV’s Celebration of Music Vocal Competition, which will air on CPTV Sunday, April 1, at 6:30 p.m. with encores airing Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. and Monday, April 9, 2018 at 10 p.m. As a finalist in the competition, White is competing for a chance to appear live onstage at the Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford Friday, April 27, 2018 at 8 p.m.

She is hoping readers will watch the Sunday night show and vote for her. Viewers will be able to vote for her starting April 1 and continuing until the night of the April 27 concert. The winner will be announced live at the concert.

Readers may remember White from her performance as Anne Frank last year at the Thomaston Opera house. Her vocal performances include singing “God Bless America” for The New York Mets at Citi Field July 23, 2017 and releasing a single, “Hurricane,” co-written and produced by Robbie Rosen of American Idol Season 10. White recently performed at Seven Angels Theatre in Waterbury, Conn. and in “Ragtime” at CT Theatre Company in New Britain and also played Susan in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” for Pearwater Productions in Hartford.

In this inspiring and exciting televised talent search and competition, participants compete for a chance to appear live onstage at Ethan’s concert at the Bushnell Performing Arts Center in Hartford on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 8 p.m.
