The 9th Annual “Live, Laugh then Putt” Indoor Mini-Golf fundraiser will be held Friday, Feb. 16, through Monday, Feb. 19,  at the Woodbury Senior Community Center. This fundraiser supports the Woodbury Community Services’ Food Bank and its fuel and crisis assistance programs.

This affordable family friendly activity brings community members together during the winter for a good cause. The challenging 9-hole course was redesigned last year by Charles Bartlett, a former longtime Woodbury resident, along with a group of handy volunteers. It offers new and different challenges guaranteed to entertain participants of all ages. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to round up the kids while others can gather coworkers, friends, students and acquaintances to play in teams of four.

Fees are $2 for children 10 and under accompanied by an adult, $3 for seniors or adults accompanying a child, $4 for teens and adults. Hours are Friday, Feb. 16, and Saturday, Feb. 17, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 18, 12 to 6 p.m.; and Monday, Feb. 19 (President’s Day) 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The senior center is at 281 Main St. S. in Woodbury.

The Middlebury Senior Center will transport Middlebury seniors there Friday, Feb. 16, from 10 to 11 a.m. for a nine-hole play. Afterwards, they will go to Annula’s Café for a Senior Dine Lunch. (Senior Dine Card needed). Play will be $3 payable to the Woodbury Senior Center; transportation will be $3 payable to the Middlebury Senior Center. For a reservation or a Senior Dine Card, call 203-577-4166.

The Friends of the Woodbury Senior Community Center will hold a bake sale during the event providing a variety of home-baked goodies, fresh popcorn and beverages for a nominal fee. For more information, contact either Charles Bartlett at 203-527-2724 or Sharon Sherman at 203-695-5410.
