Tuesday, September 15, Connecticut state officials said on Monday, September 14, at 8:30 p.m. there were 55,031 COVID-19 cases in the state. This is an increase of 136 cases since Sunday, September 13. The total number of cases in Middlebury remained at 59.

On Monday at 8:30 p.m., 71 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, an increase of 7 patients, and deaths remained at 4,485.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 53 confirmed and 6 probable, Naugatuck – 434 confirmed and 16 probable, Oxford – 90 confirmed and 4 probable, Southbury – 208 confirmed and 6 probable, Woodbury – 59 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 166 confirmed and 9 probable, and Waterbury – 2,240 confirmed and 101 probable.
