On Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Connecticut state officials said there were 46,514 COVID-19 cases in the state as of Monday, June 29, at 8:30 p.m. This is an increase of 152 cases over the 46,362 on Sunday, June 28, at 8:30 p.m. The total number of cases in Middlebury decreased to 48 (-1).

On Monday at 8:30 p.m., 98 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, a decrease of 1 patient, and 4,322 people had died, an increase of 2 deaths.

Cases in Middlebury and abutting towns were: Middlebury – 45 confirmed and 3 probable, Naugatuck – 384 confirmed and 9 probable, Oxford – 78 confirmed and 3 probable, Southbury – 191 confirmed and 5 probable, Woodbury – 51 confirmed and 1 probable, Watertown – 144 confirmed and 7 probable, Waterbury – 1,929 confirmed and 89 probable.
