Evelyn M. Eustace Kane obituary

Wolcott — Evelyn M. (Montagnon) Eustace Kane, 88, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the widow of Donald J. Kane (Honey).

Evelyn was born in Waterbury March 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Helen (Savage) Vincent. She loved to play cards and bingo. She was happiest when she was with her family and dear friends at Laurel Ridge in Wolcott. Evelyn also was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

She is survived by her two sons, Kevin E. Eustace and his wife, Kimberly, of Prospect and Barry V. Eustace Sr. and his wife, MaryAnn, of Thomaston; and four grandchildren, Sean, Heather, Kyle and Jason Eustace. Evelyn was predeceased by her two sons, Harry J. Eustace and John J. Eustace III; two grandsons, Barry V. Eustace Jr. and Ryan E. Eustace; her sister, Barbara Montagnon; and her brother, Kenneth Montagnon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. John of the Cross Church at 1089 Whittemore Road in Middlebury.
