The Middlebury Republican Town Committee tonight voted on the slate of candidates they endorse for the November election.
The slate is as follows:
First Selectman – Edward B. St. John (incumbent)
Selectman – Elaine M. R. Strobel (incumbent)
Treasurer – Robin Desantis-Stanziale
Tax Collector – Jean Dawes (incumbent)
Board of Finance – Rita Smith and Dawn Calabrese
Board of Assessment Appeals – Robert J. Flanagan Jr. (incumbent)
Police Commissioner – Francis C. Cipriano (incumbent)
Water Pollution Control Authority – Ted J. Mannello (incumbent), Paul J. Phillips (incumbent) and Robert W. Smith (incumbent)
Library Trustee Full Term – William J. Stowell (incumbent) and Peter C. Vaccarelli (incumbent)
Library Trustee to fill four years – Ronald G. Clark Sr. (incumbent)
Pomperaug Valley Water Authority – William R. Flanagan (incumbent)
Region 15 Board of Education – John Cookson (incumbent) and Brenda Carter
