Thursday, Sept. 14, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., at the Middlebury Senior Center in Shepardson Community Building at 1172 Whittemore Road in Middlebury, Tom Rosa will show and discuss the movie, “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” starring Jane Russell, Marilyn Monroe and Charles Coburn. Rosa, a retired art teacher, is an expert on old Hollywood movies.
In this movie, showgirls Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw travel to Paris, pursued by a private detective hired by the suspicious father of Lorelei’s fiancé, as well as a rich, enamored old man and many other doting admirers.
Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
