Life-Saving tour rolls into Orange with adoptable pets

Today, Saturday, April 29, from 11 am to 3 pm, adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be at the PetSmart at 55 Boston Post Road in Orange, Conn.

Connecticut area rescues joined North Shore Animal League America’s 2017 Tour For Life™ – the world’s largest national cooperative life-saving mobile pet adoption event – sponsored by Purina®. Highlighted by adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, in partnership with New Haven Companion Pet Rescue, Strat Cat, Halfway Home, Foster and Forever Brass City, Super Paws, Best Friends Day Care and Boarding, the event also will feature Purina® giveaways for all attendees.

Starting in March, Tour For Life™ traveled throughout the United States from North to South and East to West in “shelters on wheels” Mobile Pet Adoption Units helping shelter and rescue groups in 54 cities and towns in 32 states, over 20,000 miles generate awareness of their organizations and find homes for the adorable, adoptable animals in their care.
