St. John to run for re-election

#MIDDLEBURY

Middlebury First Selectman Edward B. St. John told the Bee-Intelligencer today he will run for re-election this November. He said staying in office will enable him to shepherd the new capital plan that recently got under way. “There is a lot of unfinished work, and I want the opportunity to finish it,” St. John said.

The capital plan includes, but is not limited to, new roofs for the Police Department, Town Hall and Shepardson Community Center, and improvements to the Historical Society building, the Transfer Station, the Tucker Road and West Side Firehouses, Fenn Farm, and the Library.
