The few who attended Middlebury’s town meeting May 31 unanimously approved a new town road, Madison Court, and a lease agreement for the lower level of the Middlebury Public Library.

Town Clerk Edith Salisbury and moderator Bill Stowell conducted the meeting. Six elected or appointed town officials and this reporter were in the audience.

Madison Court is a dead-end road off Park Road. The legal notice describes it as “on a Record Subdivision Map, ‘Parkland Estates – Section Four,’ prepared for Edward I. Bushka, et al, Park Road, Middlebury, Connecticut, Scale 1″ = 80′ dated July 23, 2002, and revised to April 4, 2008.”

The lease agreement for part of the lower level of the Middlebury Public Library is between the Town of Middlebury and Attorney Timothy Sullivan and Attorney Jerry Anastasio. It will start later this year.
