The Middlebury Democratic Town Committee tonight voted on the slate of candidates they endorse for the November election.
The slate is as follows:
First Selectman – Michael McCormack
Selectman – Ralph Barra (incumbent)
Treasurer – Anastasia Persico
Tax Collector – No candidate
Board of Finance – David Capppelletti (R) and Joseph Drauss
Board of Assessment Appeals – Stephen Ferrucci (incumbent)
Police Commissioner – Fran Barton Jr. (incumbent)
Water Pollution Control Authority – Punyada Bhaduri, Mark Petrucci and Anastasia Persico
Library Trustee Full Term – Anastasia Persico and Noa Miller
Library Trustee to fill four years – Sharon Bosco
Library Trustee to fill two years – Robert C. Desmarais
Pomperaug Valley Water Authority – Ann Meriam Feinberg
Region 15 Board of Education – Lois Yager
UPDATE July 24, 2015: The third candidate for Water Pollution Control Authority is Anastasia Persico. Sarah McKurnen, who was named as the third candidate, is not going to run for the position.
UPDATE July 25, 2015: Addition of Robert C. Desmarais, Library Trustee for two years, inadvertently left out of the initial posting.
